Native American Sculptures, Pottery and Paintings
Daniel's art consists of two forms of painted sculpture, laminated wooden masks and solid wood reliefs. Both techniques are based on indigenous motifs and philosophies with skews of regional influence. Daniel began as a potter and painter then moved toward sculpting stone, wood and clay. Only through the processes of painted wood sculpture is he enabled to display all his areas of art.
Daniel's art became shaped by the many areas and eras surrounding his world. He was taught to observe all art in a 3-dimensional & geometric fashion, then through the use of mixed techniques, bring his art to life.
